Netflix—Dinnertime

“Is there any practice less selfish, any labor less alienated, any time less wasted, than preparing something delicious and nourishing for people you love?” asks author Michael Pollan in his Netflix series Cooked. The answer is, there isn’t. For the last 50 years, TIME has tracked how this labor of love has evolved. Inspired by Pollan’s insight, we dug into our archives to revisit how, why and for whom we cook.


Working with TIME’s Design Director Sharon Wong, I developed TIME’s first long-form Native Advertising Article
